• Try to get a screenshot next time. Wikipedia is like the Borg; just when you think you've found a flaw, it adapts.

Oh, and it's assimilating the Web, but that's another story...

  • Helper verbs outdated. Articles useless. Behold future!

'T tends to do that especially when you post public links to it.

Luckily, we always have our wikipedian time machine nearby.

    'T
Dtech, is this something you made up or is it something English speakers from your region say commonly? I ask because as a native North American English speaker I have never heard this contraction before and am interested in how it's pronounced and why someone would use it over just plain "it".

Since i copy pasted the text into the post i did not think that i had to submit a screenshot as well. Perhaps for a true WTF post i need to take a phone-picture of the photocopy of a printout of the screenshot and message it to a blog page, and link to that via google maps.

You're doing it wrong. You need a wooden table.

Sorry 'bout that. In Dutch it isn't used much either. In fact, in ABN (altough you "shouldn't be using it" nowadays anymore since you would imply other forms of dutch aren't civilized) it doesn't even exists.

It's used in some of the more rural districts, and then it's something like "ut" which would sound like /ʌt/ or the 'u' from 'uhuh' very short followed by a regular t.

I imagined it being the 'it' like you hear it from filmish farmers: " 'T w'll prob'bly be rainy tod'y me good neber Bob"
