But mom, it really *is* a sentence!

I think we can all agree
12017.
is a perfectly cromulent sentence, but NodeBB insists it's the start of a bulleted list:Even when there's no whitespace around it, like this:
12017.
And no, there's nothing after the12017.
, not even a space.
-
Also, the maximum tag length ruined my crap joke:
-
12017 or 2017?

Austerlitz, Belg***?
-
@remi You're probably thinking of Austerlitz, Netherlands (which is also not the site of the battle, that one's in the Czech Republic now).
-
@Khudzlin Actually I was thinking of Waterloo, Belg***. Yeah I know, kinda hard to mix up the two, but I spent too much time travelling between two cities that have a station named after those (and for years, Waterloo was the arrival station for the Eurostar! Too bad it didn't leave from Austerlitz at the other end).
That'll teach me to post without thinking. Or not.

Try escaping the period.
12017\.
works for me.12017.
vs
Yeah it's a pain but it's a workaround.

Edit:: well that didn't work. Too large to be parsed as a number?

My joke may have been too subtle.

This one worked, and it's doing funny things inside the quote too.
