Hot Street Hop/Metal libertarian group

This is my new favorite group:
BackWordz- Utopias Don't Exist (Official Lyric Video) – 04:07
— BackWordz MusicI am particularly fascinated by mixing of genres made even better with libertarian themes.
-
Listening to them reminds me of Downset. Not libertarian at all. More like a mixture of LA punks and vatos, but this song is probably my favorite song about race riots:
Downset Anger – 04:10
— Сергей Посадсков
-
Doug E Fresh & Slick Rick-The Show – 06:59
— 92Rare X Kingston ONI just found a random thread that said Hop

@lucas1 yeah, Deltron is good. I like Keith more than Del, but Dan is consistently great.
-
@Captain I think they both had the same producers or something ... fuck knows now. Dr Octagon Album had like 3 versions from 3 producers or something stupid. I have a version on Vinyl that is different from the CD version ... different songs etc.
-
@lucas1 Yeah, that was Dan the Automator. He does production for Deltron (Deltron is Del the Funky Homosapien, Dan the Automator, and some other guy I forget).
-
@Captain He did Gorillaz as well. That was the guy I was trying to remember.

Yup. I'm pretty sure Del is in Gorillaz, too.
-
@lucas1 Blackalicious is dope. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvPnM2Q1nwU
-
@Captain I wasn't too keen on Gorillaz but whatever.
-
@lucas1 Agreed. But it wasn't because of their production. That was slick as hell. The music was just kind of... empty.
-
@Captain You listened to the Schooly Dee?
Schooly D - I Don't Like Rock'n'Roll – 03:49
— Lamoureux212
-
@lucas1 Not a lot, just what I heard on Aqua Teen Hunger Force. I didn't realize he was old school nyc.
If you have Netflix, you should check out "The Get Down." It's a fictionalized story about the birth of the nyc scene. Lots of good music in there. Even some krautrock and electro.

I am sure I've something like this before. But I do like it.
