@RaceProUK So if the company founder (who likely just stood by) is the "father", does that mean that the guy who programmed it and did all the work is proclaimed the "mother"?

That van's in for a rude wakeup call...

On my Atari, I loved this game.
At an arcades now, I will only play Super Ms Pac-Man.

Toru Iwatani, the person who coded the game is called "The creator of Pac-Man".
Much like other hardware/software success stories, Masaya Nakamura was the person who oversees the project and hence took the credit when it shipped.
Btw, in the wiki it's suggested he's given the title "The father of Pac-Man" because of his vision in developing arcade games, and Pac-Man is one of the classics in that category.

Iwatani appears as a character (played by an actor, but the real Iwatani has a cameo as a video game repairman) in the movie Pixels where he refers to Pac-Man as "my son", calls him "my sweet little boy" and coos over "how big you've grown".

Wait, the 2600 version?
Guys, we might need an intervention for @Karla here, send her some really well made games...

@Onyx Galaga 30th Collection was my favorite iOS game.

I'm weird, I always liked Galaxian more.
Probably nostalgia, they kept putting Galaxian into those Famiclone systems, probably because it was, IIRC, the smallest official NES ROM ever?

Well, it was a collection of four games, of which I played Galaxian and Galaga'88 the most.
Gaplus is weird.
