WTF Reviews.

  • Might be a totally mad idea, but why don't we do say a review on a bit if kit or a piece of software.

Most people here are honest. Alex could put some links on the front page and some ads.

I just bought my "first gaming mouse and it is so forgettable I left it on my passenger seat".

I used this forum software called 'Discourse' for a while. Wouldn't recommend it. I give it 1 ⭐ in it's star hole.

  • I just bought USB-chargeable AA batteries and they're crap (one is not working at all, the other holds up approximately 1 nano-second of useful life after being charged for 5 hours). So much for the idea of not having to lug around a battery charger.

@remi are we talking the ones that have the USB plug built-in? I always liked that idea, but I never saw one that wasn't shit. I guess they just can't get both the circuitry and material inside that package and get any kind of usable capacity.

18650s might work though. Then again, given that you usually use those in stuff that needs a lot of juice and that the capacity problem would still exist...

Mind that those are Li-ion, so 3.7 volt.

Yep, something like these ones. Not this brand, but the same principle.

That's too bad, because I really like the idea. I hate packing for any trip and having to remember all the gizmos and chargers and cables I need to take, so anything that would reduce the clutter is welcome. I am ready to pay a (small) price for that, either in terms of actual price or slightly smaller capacity, or longer charge, or whatever, but the one I bought are just totally useless.
