When we introduce new features and/or move UI, it would be good to give the end-user a hint about that.
A simple tool-tip that appears once and/or once until dismissed, pointing to the location and purpose of the new/moved thing.

Save the dismissal in a user variable, so it doesn't pop up again and again for the same user.

hamburgerthree cherries menu? The thing is, that menu is tied to the user as well as the post, as in you get different options for your own posts and if you're an admin/mod. I'm not sure if it's the best place since it will move around in there.Coincidentally, that's where I put it when I tried making the raw plugin myself, not realizing I could only push it into the menu for my own posts...

Here's how I'd do the menu:
[Reply [v]] [Edit [v]] [
]Under Reply would be Quote, Popcorn, Reply as Topic. Under Edit would be Delete and Move -- stuff that only applies to your own post unless you're an admin. Flag would be visually distinct from the others, so that when you don't have a central button, you don't accidentally click it trying to click the others; maybe it's red, maybe it's an image instead of a word, whatever. Then there'd be the usual upvote-downvote widget, and the dots menu for Bookmark and anything else I've forgotten.
When you don't have privileges for the main action, the lower ones would preferentially become the button. Therefore, in One Post, the button would be automatically "reply as topic", while in Mafia, it would become "popcorn".
View Raw would be under the dots menu in my scheme, but I could see a case for putting it under Edit. That would prevent the size of the bar from changing when you're viewing other people's posts instead of your own.
