You should probably take the clothes out. And if you're not going to clean her out first, you should starve her for a couple of days so there's less fecal matter.

It's just like with escargot. Also, the leaving of a slime trail is pretty similar too.

First cook to soften THEN blend. Less work for the blender.

Babies are like spinach, they cook down a surprising amount.
-
@Lorne-Kates Blendtec blenders don't care - we've learned that through enough episodes of Will It Blend? over the years that human bones would be fiiiiiine.

@Arantor
I'm @Lorne-Kates, and I'm here to tell you about the Blendtec Blender! Perfect for dealing with those pesky bones left after you finish up with your trans hookers.
-
How many babies does it take to make a bottle of baby oil?
-
@El_Heffe It depends, how large is your bottle?

@Lorne-Kates Canadians have babies? I thought they just built their offspring out of snow.

Yes, but because of global warming, snow is being rationed. We can only make tiny offsprings and let them grow naturally.
-
@Lorne-Kates Well, soon enough you'll be able to grow your own food. Food independence...

@Lorne-Kates What's the electric drill for?

In the taste-free plastic they call "cheese" over there? Sounds about right.

Mine started on solids a few days ago too.
Holding her while trying to feed her was complicated until I got a proper chair.

Any way ... feeding is a bit tedious at first but once they start picking up on it goes fast

QFFT
In the mouth … no, keep it in your mouth … come on, swallow … great, now that bit is more spit than food.

She really took to the spoon right away. Then again, we've been eating in front of her all her life so far. As soon as she started being fascinated by "things go in mouth", she was ready.
For the first bit, I'll feed her-- and of course show her "yum" by eating some myself. Kids love to imitate.
But now she's DEMANDING independence. If I try to feed her, she gets the "mouth closed turn away" face going. But if I put the spoon down, she reaches for it and feeds herself. Or at least gets the spoon to her face. She gets it right about 25% of the time. The rest of the time it ends up on her face or the floor. This makes the dog very happy.
But she's figuring it out, and that's one of the best ways to get kids to eat. They love accomplishing things. And she absolutely LOVES IT when she gets the spoon in the right direction and gets food. =)
