Are you okay, NPM?

Or maybe it's PuTTY being weird. But that's not very useful installation info.
-
Um, okay now... there's definitely a problem here.
-
Pretty sure you just overwrote everything with line noise.
Hey, try playing it back through an audio player. Maybe it's trying to talk to you!

@accalia Or not at all. And his putty is not set to UTF-8 - probably to that windows codepage instead?

Yeah, a symlink fixed that. I went off-track there trying to find the part of installation that apparently installed node as
OCśnodeOCO
, but it was just a matter ofapt
installing node asnodejs

Hm, might be. Thought it's an issue with some ANSI sequences it doesn't handle, but maybe it's trying to actually spew something out.

@Maciejasjmj Not sure about the first bunch, but in that error message it's trying to print fancy quotes.

Because, you know, proper fallbacks are for pussies.
-
@Maciejasjmj The fallback is UTF-8. Though I'm not sure where the proper configuration, if any, comes from. Probably a linux user profile setting.

If you play it backwards it probably tells he is Satan and he wants you to kill a goat or fuck a goat, I couldn't understand that part clearly. Best just kill it afterwards.
