Too bad if you're born in 1961...

  • They cover 1900 to 2008 though. I guess the 102 year olds and 2 year olds are more important to them than the 46/47 year olds.

  • What was the value of the option?

I forgot to "view source", but the client-side Javascript didn't show an "OK" when I had YYYY selected, so I presumed it wouldn't have let me even post the page except by brute force.

  •  This reminds me of a year drop-down menu we have on an internal app that logs tech support tasks. I started writing that app right out of university and while 95% of it has been overhauled over the years apparently I missed a spot. The offending field is apparently never used because I recently clicked on it only to discover that it showed every year from this to 0. So basically you can use that form to search if jesus ever did any tech support.

I have no idea what was going through my head when I wrote that...

I would like to see the ticket that goes "The Spanish Inquisition arrived.  I didn't expect them.  Please fix this now."

I don't know about tech support, but Jesus has done some body support and his arms are killing him!

Rack and comfy chair sold on eBay

  • Instead of comfy chair, package contained bobcat. Would not buy again.

It's like Godwin's Law, but instead of Hitler it's xkcd references.

and that could, in itself, be considered an xkcd reference!

Right, but the Holocaust wasn't nearly as bad as xkcd.
