CNET news: Windows runs best on Mac.

  • Apple make best windows machine

CNET has just confirm what Nagesh knew all along to be true. Apple make best hardware in the world.

  • Apple doesn't make hardware.

This is untrue comment. Apple may not be owning factory to make hardware like samsung does, but it lay down specification of device that carry its logo.
It control design, it test product produced from factory and pass QA etc. So your comment is false.

Again in Company Law we learn that company is a separate entity, so if you think on that line, remember that employee who work for company make hardware. the company only empower the employee to do that.

    True

No, you didn't use the word "make" there because they don't do it. They don't manufacture hardware, a third party does it for them

Not unless "make" means something different from you

Unless that employee is called Apple then is settled

  • Apple does have good trackpads.

But I got a better screen and CPU in a thinner case for less money from ACER.

  • Discourse touched me in a no-no place

Only because they buy out the companies producing better ones, and so they stop producing them.

You are not getting point I am making, but nice trick to drawing me in argument. :-)

    Embrace, extend, extinguish?

As a sidenote: does anyone here actually use one of those "natural keyboards"? I gave one a go years back and couldn't adjust to it (despite it feeling more comfortable, my fingers hit the wrong things)

Used to - it's what finally got me to touch-type.

Acer hardware tends to be terrible. If it doesn't fail within 6 months, consider yourself lucky.

  • Hey fuck you too. "Spent a lot of money on a new laptop? Here let me shit all over it."

Hey don't you have other party warranty companies in US of A or whatever country you're posting from?

Yes windows run best on MAC.
Because it's a nice clean install that no manufacturer has gotten their greasy mitts on to crud up with crapware.

If you took an equivalently-spec'd Macbook and, say, a Dell Latitude, and you did a clean install of Windows on both and then installed only the basic drivers on them and whatever applications are required to get the hardware working (e.g. Bootcamp Assistant or whatever on the Mac; any battery related software for the Dell), you would find that they both run much the same, except that the Dell costs much less.

That being said I will admit I have noticed that Dell's machines of late have been incredibly light on bloat - had a look at an Inspiron and XPS laptop with a friend in a store the other day and they basically had Windows 8, the drivers, an Office trial, a McAfee trial and a few Dell Metro apps. I think Live Essentials and\or Skype may have been on there too. On the other hand, manufacturers such as Acer, HP and Toshiba should be ashamed of their installs - literally so much crap that I don't know how people cope: Toshiba throw in some game trials, an Office trial, a Norton a trial, Clickfree Backup, Amazon Kindle, Norton PC Checkup, and various Toshiba branded crapware that I have no idea what possible purpose that they could serve apart from annoying the user. It doesn't help Toshiba, either, that a lot of their current models all tend to have keyboards that flex significantly when you type on them.

This entire quote tree is sound like Nagesh.

Now you're also talking like me only.
