From the "we didn't think that URL through" department

  • I spotted this one in my gmail. I know a "Bed in a Bag" is a carry-case with all the sheets, blankets and pillows you need for a bed. Then wtf is this?

  •  maybe clicking on the link would have illuminated you.

  • I'm just guessing here, but maybe its a carry-case filled with things like clothes, diapers, toys and other basic items someone might need if they have, like, you know....a baby?

  •

maybe clicking on the link would have illuminated you.

     On Ads? Nevah!

  • ...or maybe they sell 'Stylish Baby Sleep Sacks' ? Like, you know, it says in the words before the URL ;)

Then why isn't the URL 'babybag.com'?

Of course there's nothing wrong with the text or the site-- otherwise it would be from the "wow, that's some really messed up text right beside the URL" department.

I mean, if you saw in your gmail:

"Pneumatically Recover Valuable Bearings From Old Electronics" www.ballsucker.com

Would you say "That makes perfect sense" or 'screencap to tdwtf!" ?

pen island is a wtf url. this is not.

It is about putting babies in bags, so babyinabag.com is perfectly suitable.

anyway in my gmail inbox i found the "Show my web clips above the Inbox" setting and unticked it

That makes as much sense as asking "Why isn't your posting name halcyon1235?"

It's pretty amazing that you have three posts, none of which says anything. Great start.

    A. A baby in two bags!

If you really want a baby in a bag check the dumpster after prom!

    (Too soon?)

Of course not.  Prom was months ago.

Christ, months ago?  Like it or not, that baby is not going to be fresh.

Slightly more facepalm, don't you think?

Never mind the fact that the URL is actually ifap.ed.gov, which you intentionally obscured.  ifapp.ed.gov doesn't even exist.

Oh no, a domain name that's one letter away from obscure internet jargon!

Well as babybag.com shows, a Baby Bag is something different. Although the real WTF is that their url isn't store.com or shopping.com. Those would be easier to remember!

There probably isn't much overlap between those that see babyinabag.com and think of gruesome infanticide and dismemberment and those looking to by stylish baby sleep sacks. There is no WTF - you just need to find a better place to post urls that you find humorous.

    Q. What is the difference between a truck full of babies and a truck full of sand

    A. You can not unload sand with a pitchfork.
