  @TwelveBaud I still remember the "None of your extensions will work anymore! But never fear, we'll help you search to see if there are replacements available" update. That was pretty stupid. Especially since it had no way to automatically upgrade extensions when the same extension was already available as a WebExtension... it couldn't even find the extension automatically; you had to search for it by name.

At another point, someone argued that this would create unnecessary contention against the New Comments System on the Front Page Articles for the confusing disconnect between the forum and comments sections. Thus, the quo has been statused.

Because if I posted a screenshot you guys wouldn't believe how incredibly slow the forum's been acting. Open the developer console with f12, then choose the "performance" tab. Click start recording then navigate to the page that's slow. Click stop when you're done and you'll see a load of coloured lines for the different things that were loading. Any really long line will be something that took ages

I have a feeling when it calculates its dependency tree, it stores all of it (and the files too I suppose) in active memory, and only when the tree has been completely built, will it blurt it all out into node_modules/ The minute yarn allows yarn publish, I'm out of the npm ecosystem.

Yeah, kinda sucks that the bookmark is instantly updated in that case...
